The Sleep and Lung Centre has three experienced Respiratory and Sleep Physicians, Dr Sean Tolhurst, Dr Suvenesh Prasad and Dr Amy Reynolds.
Dr Sean Tolhurst studied at The University of Queensland and Flinders University of South Australia, later gaining a fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with a specialist qualification in Respiratory and Sleep medicine.
His medical focus is on complex bronchoscopy and providing a rapid and accurate diagnostic service for lung cancer lesions and other complex respiratory problems, as well as the non-surgical management of end stage emphysema
Originally from Fiji, Dr Suvenesh Prasad studied medicine and surgery at the university of South Pacific, later partaking in specialist training in Australia at Logan Hospital, The Princess Alexandra, Prince Charles and Greenslopes Private Hospital. Dr Prasad is able to provide patients with specialist sleep services at various locations. He specialises in Sleep Apnoea, assessing commercial drivers and complex sleep disorders.
Dr Amy Reynolds is a Consultant Respiratory and Sleep Physician working in private practise at Greenslopes Private Hospital. Her advanced training in respiratory medicine was completed at a variety of hospitals in South East Queensland including Gold Coast Hospital, Mater Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.
We offer a complete, one-stop-shop for referral patients in need of specialist respiratory or sleep care. Depending on your needs, we can arrange an Inpatient appointment at Greenslopes Private Hospital, or an Outpatient service in the comfort of your own home.
